Bio

Cameron Parkins [he/him] joined the Department of Health Administration in January 2021. Prior to VCU, he worked at the University of Michigan-Dearborn for nearly two decades, in roles from student-facing IT support to undergraduate e-recruitment/admissions, and graduate admissions/student services. Cameron also attended UM-Dearborn where he earned a BA in Communications and English Literature as well as a MA in Educational Technology.

In the Department, Cam manages the logistics for the full student lifecycle. He supports students and faculty in the MHA, MSHA, HSOR PhD programs, and the graduate certificate programs.

Cameron is a roller coaster enthusiast, a minor league baseball fan, and a dog dad to a rescue pup named Scooter.
