Siou-Tang Huang received her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration at Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan, and a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration at I-Shou University, Taiwan. Prior to studying the VCU HSOR program, she was a research fellow at the Institute for Hospital Management, Tsinghua University, China, and a research assistant in department of Healthcare Administration and Medical Informatics, Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan.

Her research interests focus on clinical outcomes and resource utilization studies, cost-effectiveness analysis, and micro-level hospital management. She has experience in survey instrument development and validation, also in health data management and analyses in both national and hospital based. She acquired both quantitative and qualitative study design skills and assisted in conducting over 20 research projects. She, a young healthcare researcher, is co-authors of papers published in the International Journal for Quality in Health Care, Frontiers in Public Health, European Journal of Radiology.
