Directions

Directions to the Eighth Street Parking Deck and to the College of Health Professions Building (900 E. Leigh Street)

*Please note this deck charges $10.00 for daily parking

Arriving by I-64 West (from Williamsburg and Virginia Beach):

1. Take Exit #190 for 5^th Street and Downtown/Coliseum.
2. Turn left on Jackson Street (first light you arrive at).
3. Drive three blocks and turn left onto 8^th Street (Jackson Street will end and you will need to turn left or right).
4. The entrance to the parking deck is located on the right almost immediately after turning left onto 8^th Pull into the first lane and retrieve a ticket.
5. Follow walking directions ***

Arriving by I-64 East (from Charlottesville and I-81)

1. Follow I-64 East which merges with I-95 South.
2. Exit onto N 3^rd Street to downtown.
3. Turn left onto Jackson Street almost immediately after exiting the freeway.
4. Drive five blocks and turn left onto 8^th Street (Jackson Street will end and you will need to turn left or right).
5. The entrance to the parking deck is located on the right almost immediately after turning onto 8^th Pull into the first lave and retrieve a ticket.
6. Follow walking directions ***

Arriving by I-95 North (from Petersburg and North Carolina):

1. Take Exit #74C for West Broad Street
2. Proceed west on Broad Street for five blocks to 9^th Turn right.
3. Drive three blocks until you arrive at Leigh Street. Turn left.
4. The parking deck is on the right just after Jackson Street. Pull into the first lane and retrieve a ticket.
5. Follow walking directions ***

Arriving by I-95 South (from Washington, D.C.):

1. Follow I-95 South with merges with I-64.
2. The I-95 and I-64 will fork, take the I-64 E Exit #75 to Williamsburg/Norfolk.
3. Exit onto N 3^rd Street on the right.
4. Turn left onto Jackson Street almost immediately after exiting the freeway.
5. Drive five blocks and turn left onto 8^th Street (Jackson Street will end and you will need to turn left or right).
6. The entrance to the parking deck is located on the right almost immediately after turning onto 8^th Pull into the first lave and retrieve a ticket.

Walking Directions:

From the 8th Street Parking deck, exit the main entrance. Directly adjancent to the deck will be the brand new College of Health Professions building. Enter at the first entrance and continue down the hallway until you arrive at the elevators. Take the elevator to the 8th floor where you will see the Health Administration suite directly ahead.
